PACIFIC INVITATIONAL 2020

10 – 12 JULY, 2020 MAY 1-3 AT MELBOURNE, BRISBANE, SYDNEY, HOBART, AUCKLAND AND NAURU

World Powerlifting reboots for 2020 with the Pacific Invitational. The prime division of this feature event for all Nations bordering the Pacific will be held in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Hobart, Australia. Streamed simulvents will be held at the New Zealand Powerlifting Academy in Auckland and in Nauru. Put it all together and the Pacific Invitational will be the region’s big event for mid 2020 and a major lead up to the Oceanias.

OCEANIA CHAMPIONSHIPS 2020

24 – 25 OCTOBER, 2020 CREST HOTEL, MELBOURNE

The Oceania zone’s biggest event is now locked in at the Crest Hotel, in Melbourne’s tourist hotspot area of St. Kilda. The champions of powerhouse Nauru will be pitted against the best from Australia, New Zealand and the Island nations in a record-breaking spectacular.Guest lifters from all around the world are welcome.

ASIA PACIFIC OPEN AT FIBO CHINA 2020

NOVEMBER, 2020 SHANGHAI NATIONAL CONVENTION EXHIBITION CENTRE

The biggest sports and fitness event in Asia has been re-set. World Powerlifting’s best will be center stage at FIBO China. 100 Lifters from China, all of Asia and the Pacific will be setting records in front of 50,000 intense fitness fans. Special guest Krzysztof Wierzbicki will be attacking the all-time Deadlift record in a history-making challenge.

OCEANIA JUNIOR/MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2021

JANUARY 29 – 31, 2021 CAMBRIDGE, NEW ZEALAND

Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific’s top age group lifters (Youth U18, Junior U23, Masters 40-44 all the way up to 80+) will fight for titles and records at St. Peters Stadium, Cambridge, just outside New Zealand’s main city of Auckland. Held in conjunction with the World Junior and Masters Championships in a multi-title extravaganza.

WORLD JUNIOR/MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2021

JANUARY 29 – 31, 2021 CAMBRIDGE, NEW ZEALAND

All lifters and all nations are welcome Down Under for 2021’s big event for Juniors (U18 and U23) and Masters (five year age groups, 40-44 to 80+ years). To be held simultaneously with the Oceania Junior, Masters and Bench Press Championships at the cavernous St. Peters stadium, nearby to Auckland, New Zealand’s major city.

WORLD POWERLIFTING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2021

APRIL 30 – MAY 02, 2021 SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA

This is it, the big event of 2021, the open World Powerlifting Championships. World Powerlifting’s top men and women lifters will be challenging for titles and records in 16 bodyweight classes at Fitness Show Sydney. Paired with the iCN World Bodybuilding Championships and with 30,000 fitness fans storming the stage, this will be the spectacle of the year. All lifters and nations eligible.
